The Parador de Cadiz is a four star modern hotel offering private and exclusive access to a small beach next to Genoves Park. It is close to the sea in a residential area which is surrounded by palm trees and offers stunning views over the Bay of Cadiz.

The parador provides a good base from which to explore the entire province including the White Villages, Toro and Wine Routes along with the small villages along the spectacular coast of Cádiz. There are many interesting places to visit in the old town including the walls and fortresses of Puertas Tierra, the Baroque cathedral, archaeological museum with its collection of Phoenician sarcophagi and the San Carmen hospital which has a painting by the famous Spanish artist El Greco.

The Parador de Cadiz has 113 twin rooms, 8 double rooms and 8 suites. All of the accommodation comes well equipped with air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, cable television and a mini bar.  Some of the rooms are specially adapted for guests with special needs. The spacious and bright guest rooms all have panoramic sea views. There are also function rooms which are perfect for meetings and conferences and can accommodate up to 800 people.

Sports and leisure amenities in this area include boat trips and water sports, or the parador has its own swimming pool, gymnasium and bar which provides live piano, saxophone and bass music.  If you are in the area in May it is well worth visiting the nearby Horse Fair which is held in nearby Jerez where you can sample the local sherry and also see some spectacular flamenco dancing.

The hotel restaurant specialises in delicious local dishes including assorted fried fish, Rota-style urta (local fish), gilthead, sea bream and the famous Cádiz turron sweet nougat.
